Los Angeles Jail, LA County Jail Inmate, Los Angeles Inmate Information
Members of the general public may visit an LA County Jail Inmate at any Los Angeles
Jail. When visiting an LA County Jail Inmate at a Los Angeles Jail you will need
to abide by the following rules and regulations.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, or legal guardian.
All persons requesting visitation privileges must be in possession of a valid
photo identification including:
- a valid California Identification Card or driver's license,
- A valid school photo identification card,
- U.S. Military identification card,
- A valid Passport/Visa,
- Alien Registration card,
Record checks may be made if it is considered necessary for the security of the
inmates, employees, visitors, or the facility
The Los Angeles Jail system is made up of several different jail facilities.
